A radiation oncologist certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Marta Dahiya has extensive clinical experience treating breast cancer, sarcomas, and gynecologic and gastrointestinal malignancies. Dr. Marta Dahiya has treated patients at Radiation Oncology of San Antonio, Precision Cancer, and the John Peter Smith Cancer Center.
Dr. Dahiya received her medical degree from the Universidad PontificiaBolivariana in Medellin and spent several years practicing medicine at clinics in underserved Colombian communities. She later relocated to San Antonio, where she conducted infectious disease research with the University of Texas Health Science Center, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine. She also spent four years training in radiation oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
A recipient of the Scholarly Activity Award from the Department of Medicine, Dr. Marta Dahiya has published numerous articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. She is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology.
